Visitors can enjoy a wide array of activities, educational exhibits, and family-friendly entertainment. Food will be available on site, served by members of the Sweet Arrow Lake Conservation Association along with students from the Vo-Tech Culinary Arts program.
The festival will feature a variety of vendors and organizations offering information and activities. Among those participating are Schuylkill County Trout Unlimited, Lykens Valley Children’s Museum, Schuylkill—Keep It Pretty, Penn State Master Gardeners, and Blue Mountain Wildlife, with more expected.
In addition to vendor displays, outdoor attractions will be available for all ages. Highlights include pumpkin painting, a live animal show with Possum Patty, a nature coloring contest for both youth and adults, and a guided nature walk led by Hemlock Hannah.
The event is presented by Explore Schuylkill and coordinated by the Schuylkill Conservation District, both of which emphasize the importance of conservation, outdoor education, and celebrating the region’s natural resources.
