Gary M. Kodlick, 79 years of age of New Ringgold, Pennsylvania died on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.Born December 15, 1945 in Coaldale Hospital in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Michael and Anna Sue (Kalny) Kodlick. Gary was also predeceased by: son, Kenneth Kodlick; and sister, Marie Yannetti.
Surviving are daughters: Kelly Bergantinos, Karla Kodlick, Karen Stemple; sister, Cheryl Ann Leiby, wife of Larry; brother, Terrence M. Kodlick; and by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A 1963 graduate of Blue Mountain High School, Gary honorably served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Gary had retired from Stroh's Brewery after 27 years; previously he was a school bus driver, as well as a dump truck and loader operator. Gary was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Gary had played softball as a member of the Church Softball leagues.

Margaret A. "Peggy" Ritter, 82, formerly of Temple, passed away Monday, October 20th, at Providence Place Retirement Community, Pottsville.She was born in Pottsville on May 18, 1943, a daughter of the late Charles & Dorthea (MacMinn) Hay.
Peggy was a graduate of Pottsville High School, a member of the Kilties. She also graduated from Kutztown University.
For 30 years, she worked as a 4th grade teacher at Exeter Township School District. Many of her former students kept in touch with her.
Peggy was the widow of Paul Ritter.
She is survived by her first husband, Paul Riffle, Iowa, her step-daughter, Beth Ritter-Guth, wife of David, Palmerton, grandchildren: David, & Julian, cousins including her caretaker, Carol Seiler Kalinich, wife of Alex, Minersville, and Jim, & Rick Seiler, and Merril Leibensperger, Arizona, and her dear friends, Priscilla & Larry Houp.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, October 24th at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona with Pastor Josh Ott officiating. A Viewing will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Jerome M. Strokelitus "Stroker", 70, of Mt Carbon passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025 at his home.
Born in Pottsville September 29, 1955, he was a son of the late William and Elizabeth (Pivnickas) Strokelitus.
He was a student of Minersville Area High school. He went on to work in Tunnell construction, and owned his own successful business for 30+ years, Stroker's Electric and General Contracting.
He was a volunteer firefighter, and a Life member of the Mt. Carbon Fire Co.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Robert Strokelitus; sisters Mary Ann Strokelitus; Christine Urbanavage, Veronica Wentz and Dolores Strokelitus in infancy.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years Judith (D’Alessandro) Strokelitus; Daughters Karyn Chillemi of Mt. Carbon; Lisa Williams of Minersville; Sons Chad Strokelitus of Port Carbon; Kyle Strokelitus of Mt. Carbon; 4 Grandchildren Morgan Chillemi; Christian Chillemi; Dylan Strokelitus; Austin Strokelitus; 2 Brothers Vincent Kellit of Forestville and John Strokelitus of Pottsville; Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7:30PM October 23, 2025 at Dutcavich Funeral Home & Cremation Care Inc. 200 Sunbury St. Minersville, PA 17954. Friends may call from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at the funeral home.
Arlene M. Moyer, 98, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at home.
Born on May 9, 1927 in Wayne Twp., she was a daughter of the late Howard and Amy Lutz Schaeffer.
She attended Wayne Township schools and graduated in 1944 from Cressona High School.
Arlene was the wife of the late Robert S. Moyer. She was a dedicated farmers wife and loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Summer Hill.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John E. Schaeffer, Sr.
Surviving are two daughters, Elaine M. Moyer and Joan and husband Daniel Luckenbill, both of Schuylkill Haven; two grandchildren, Melissa and husband Matt Sterner of Hawley and Andrew Luckenbill of Port Carbon; three great granddaughters, Emily E., Allison L. and Grace C. Sterner; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 11:00 A,M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1185 Summer Hill Rd. Auburn, with Rev. Marie Meeks officiating. There will be a viewing on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the church. Interment will follow in Summer hill Cemetery, Auburn.

Daphne M. Kime, 53, of Tower City, passed away Sunday morning, October 19, 2025 after being diagnosed with cancer two weeks prior.
Daphne was born on Monday, January 10, 1972, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Fickinger Harner.
Daphne was a dedicated and faithful employee of the Tower Mini Markets, now Top Star Markets, Reinerton, where she worked for over 30 years. You could always count on Daphne to greet you with a friendly hello every morning.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Kime, Sr., 2020.
She is survived by two uncles, several cousins, and dear friends who were like family. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Lucy.
Daphne will be laid to rest privately along side her mother in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating.

Eleanor M. Wolfe, 87, of Valley View passed away Sunday night, October 19, 2025 at the Hershey Medical Center with her family by her side.
Born in Ashland on Sunday, March 13, 1938, a daughter of the late Elmer and Alberta Ochs Blyler. She was a 1956 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.
Eleanor was a faithful life member at the Valley View Church of God.
Throughout Eleanor's life, she worked at the family business, Blyler Fruit Farm, Spring Glen. She always looked forward to making cider on Mondays.
Her family was the center of her world. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wolfe, 1994; a brother, Elvin Blyler; a son-in-law, John Hand; a daughter-in-law, Diane Wolfe.
Surviving are her three children, Brenda Hand, Sacramento, Glen Wolf, Sacramento, and Mark Wolfe (Julia), Hegins; five grandchildren, Laura Hand (Brian), Bethany Hand (Jeff), Christopher Hand, Emily Hand, and Devon Wolfe; four great grandchildren, Rosie, Emma, Claire, and Teddy; one brother, John Blyler (Diane), Spring Glen; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Valley View Church of God with Pastor Bob Cassel officiating. Viewing will be from 10-11 at the church. Following the service, Eleanor will be laid to rest alongside her husband in the church cemetery.

Kay Margaret Schaeffer, 85, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday, October 18th, at Orwigsburg Center, Orwigsburg.
Kay was born in Pottsville on January 19, 1940, a daughter of the late George H. & Beulah M. (Hubler) Bickel.
She was the widow of Jan P. Schaeffer.
Kay was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven. She also belonged to the Schuylkill Haven Senior Citizens.
She is a 1957 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School.
Kay worked as a teller at Schuylkill Citizens Savings & Loan and had also worked for Gordon D. Reed Insurance Agency.
Kay was a true people person. She loved going on walks and chatting with her neighbors. She enjoyed family gatherings and holiday celebrations. Kay could often be found reading and playing cards.
Kay is survived by her daughter, Jennifer K. Schaeffer & companion, Jeff Davis, brother, Dean Bickel, all of Schuylkill Haven, two sisters: Georgine Aungst, Hopeland, PA, & Linda Miller, wife of Melvin, Schuylkill Haven, and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Kay is also preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Sterner & Joyce Shollenberger.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 23rd at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc. in Schuylkill Haven with Rev. Mark Dewald officiating.
