The Anthony Agosti era at North Schuylkill started with a statement win Saturday afternoon as the Spartans rolled past Hanover Area, 54-18, in the opening game of the 2025–2026 boys basketball season.
North Schuylkill controlled the game from the opening tip, jumping out to a 14–3 lead after the first quarter and never looking back. Aggressive defense and balanced scoring allowed the Spartans to extend their advantage to 26–10 by halftime and 46–15 after three quarters. The defense tightened even further in the final frame, holding Hanover to 3 points.
Eight Spartans found their way into the scoring column, showcasing the depth Agosti emphasized coming into the season.
