UPDATE: Boil Water Advisory Issued for Portions of Pottsville Following Water Main Break

Following Monday morning’s water main break near the Roller Roost, a Boil Water Advisory has now been issued for affected customers in Pottsville.
According to the latest information from the Schuylkill County Municipal Authority, the advisory was issued on November 17, 2025, and applies to customers in the following areas:

• 3 Westwood Road
• 41 Westwood Road
• 50 Westwood Road
• 60 Westwood Road
• 97 Westwood Road
• 98 Westwood Road
• 900 Gordon Nagle Trail
• 17 Westwood Center
• 1600 Elk Avenue
• 601 N. 16th Street

Residents and businesses in these locations are urged to boil their water for at least one minute before drinking, cooking, or consuming in any way. The advisory will remain in effect until water quality tests confirm the system is safe.
