The Blue Mountain girls’ basketball team opened its 2025–2026 campaign on the road Saturday, battling back multiple times but ultimately falling to Conrad Weiser, 42–38.
The matchup stayed tight early, with Conrad Weiser holding a narrow 11–9 lead after the first quarter. By halftime, the Scouts extended their advantage to 20–15, but Blue Mountain continued to grind its way back into contention.
Conrad Weiser pushed ahead 32–24 after three quarters, yet the Eagles put together their strongest offensive stretch in the fourth, outscoring the Scouts 14–10 to close the gap. Despite the late surge, Blue Mountain couldn’t complete the comeback.
