George Thomas Paulosky, Sr., 66, of Montgomery, IL passed away Sunday, December 21st, 2025 at his home.

He was born March 7th, 1959 in Minersville, PA, the son of George and Emma (Angelo) Paulosky.

George graduated from Minersville Area High School in 1977, where he participated in football and basketball. He graduated from Susquehana University in 1981.

He was a loyal fan of the New York Giants.

He is survived by his 3 daughters, Lisa (Josh French) Paulosky, Lara Paulosky and Sara (Sean Snyder) Paulosky; 5 grandchildren, Dominic Montalvo, Deonecea Montalvo, Dione Montalvo, Tucker Snyder and Madison Snyder; 1 brother, William (Christa) Paulosky; 1 sister, Carol (Gene) Demcher; 1 niece, Amelia (John) Demcher-Hopkins and 1 nephew, Brian (Krista) Demcher.

George is preceded in death by his parents and one son, George Paulosky. All services private at the convenience of the family.


Mary Ann Camarda Mary Ann Camarda, age 82 of Schuylkill Haven passed away on Thursday December 25th at St. Joseph Hospital in Reading.

Born in Pottsville on January 1, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Sekelic and Jean Agnes (Weismiller) Templin and step father James Templin.

She worked as a hairdresser-cosmetologist.

Mary Ann is survived by son Marino (Mike) Sfameni (Kristen), daughter Gina Hoffmaster, grandchildren: Randy, Erica, Lia, Kira, four great-grandchildren, sister Rita Nein, brother Andrew Sekelic (Linda), and cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday December 30th at 2pm at the Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Cressona Road Pottsville.

The Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home in Port Carbon is in charge of arrangements.


Donna M. Thompson Donna M. Thompson, 78, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center - East, Pottsville.

Born in Drexell Hill on Monday, February 24, 1947, a daughter of the late John Nolan and Mary Turner. She was a graduate of Henderson High School, West Chester.

Donna was raised in the Christian faith.

She had a huge heart for animals, especially dogs. She could often be found gardening, doing word searches, feeding the birds in her yard, or enjoying a sweet treat. Above all else, her family was her world.

Surviving are her three sons, Jim Walker, King of Prussia, Erich Walker, Schuylkill Haven, and Clint Walker, Schuylkill Haven; four grandchildren, Lamonte Walker Calcano, Schuylkill Haven, Alyssa Walker, Delaware, Kayla Walker, Schuylkill Haven, and Brittany Walker, King of Prussia; a sister, Eileen Nolan Beck, Kennett Square.

Following her wishes, there will be no formal services.


Randall J. Bain Randall J. Bain, 65, of Tremont, passed away early Friday morning, December 26, 2025.

Born in Pottsville, on Monday, May 30, 1960, a son of Janice Miller Madrigal, Tremont, and the late Frank Bain.

Randy was a 1978 graduate of Pine Grove High School. He was also a graduate of DeVry University, where he majored in Electronics with a minor in Electrical.

He worked an an electrician with Interstate Electronics, Honeywell, and Reading Bakery Systems.

Randy was a member of the Pine Grove VFW and Pine Grove Fish and Game.

He enjoyed playing cards with his friends. Randy was also an avid golfer.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his stepfather, Rafael Madrigal.

Surviving in addition to his mother, are his son, whom he was extremely proud of, Ethan J. Bain, currently stationed with the United States Navy in Norfolk, VA; a sister, Lynn Bain, San Diego, CA; a brother, Frank Bain, Donaldson; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Randy's Life will be announced in early spring.

The Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Tower City, is honored to serve Randy's family.


Ron Lenker Ron Lenker passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025.

Born on September 12, 1948, Ron was a proud 12th-generation Pennsylvanian. Raised in Orwin, he developed a lifelong love for the great outdoors, spending countless hours hunting and fishing. A longtime member of the Orwin Gun Club, he enjoyed decades of trap shooting, creating memories and enduring friendships along the way.

Ron was a skilled craftsman. He could build anything and loved working with his hands. He had a special talent for reloading ammo, tying flies, and making the most delicious fudge ever. “Captain Ron” loved boating and spent many summers on the water in the Thousand Islands with family and friends. In retirement, he and his wife embarked on a grand adventure, visiting all 50 states together. One of his favorite places to cast a line became the Madison River in Yellowstone National Park.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara; three children, Rick, Randy, and Barbie (Steve); four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Isabelle Lenker, and his brother, Ken.

Ron was truly everyone’s friend. With his laid-back spirit and gentle kindness, he made everyone feel at ease. He possessed a rare gift for striking up a meaningful conversation with anyone he met.

In his memory, enjoy a drink of your choice, spend time in the outdoors, cheer on the Cowboys, or best of all - take the day off and go fishing.
