Two Pottsville Men Face Charges After Multi-Store Retail Theft at Fairlane Village Mall


Two Pottsville men are facing retail theft charges following an incident reported at Fairlane Village Mall in Norwegian Township on December 1, 2025.
According to Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, troopers were dispatched to the mall, located at 7290 Fairlane Village Mall, at approximately 12:39 p.m. for a report of a retail theft in progress involving multiple stores.

Police identified the suspects as Ronele Jackson, 24, and Taquale Davis, 33, both of Pottsville.

Troopers said the alleged thefts involved merchandise from T.J. Maxx, Boscov’s, and Michaels. The stolen items included a wide range of products such as cologne, Bluetooth speakers, grooming tools, toys, clothing, socks, jewelry, and novelty items. Individual item values ranged from a few dollars to nearly $190 for plastic novelty jewelry.

During the incident, the suspects were initially detained by St. Clair Police Department a short distance from the mall. They were later taken into custody by Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven.

State police said both men were processed and subsequently released. The investigation remains ongoing.
