North Schuylkill Claims Team Title at 2026 Schuylkill League Wrestling Tournament
POTTSVILLE, Pa. — North Schuylkill captured the team championship at the 2026 Schuylkill League Wrestling Tournament, held January 17 at historic Martz Hall in Pottsville.
The Spartans totaled 210 points to secure first place, finishing ahead of Tri Valley (167 points) and Pine Grove Area (161.5 points) in a tightly contested team race.
In individual competition, wrestlers from across the league claimed championship honors in 13 weight classes, showcasing the depth of talent in Schuylkill League wrestling.

North Schuylkill’s championship performance was highlighted by individual titles from Brock Holmes (141) and Bode Gates (147), helping the Spartans pull away in the overall team standings.
With the league tournament complete, teams now turn their focus to upcoming District XI postseason competition, where several Schuylkill League wrestlers will look to continue their championship runs.
