More than 2,500 students university-wide were named to the Fall 2025 Dean’s List, including a large group of Schuylkill County residents attending Commonwealth University–Bloomsburg and Commonwealth University–Lock Haven. Students named to the Dean’s List must earn a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.0 scale while completing 12 or more semester hours of letter-graded coursework.
Schuylkill County students recognized on the Fall 2025 Dean’s List at the Bloomsburg campus hailed from communities including Ashland, Auburn, Barnesville, Cressona, Donaldson, Frackville, Girardville, Gordon, Hegins, Kline Township, Klingerstown, Lavelle, McAdoo, Mahanoy City, Minersville, Orwigsburg, Pine Grove, Port Carbon, Pottsville, Ringtown, Saint Clair, Schuylkill Haven, Sheppton, Shenandoah, Tamaqua, and Tower City.
Additional Schuylkill County students earning Dean’s List honors attended Commonwealth University–Lock Haven, including students from Tamaqua, Gordon, Pottsville, and Middleport.
In addition to the Dean’s List honorees, several Schuylkill County students were named to the Fall 2025 President’s List, an elite academic distinction awarded to students who achieve a perfect 4.0 grade point average while completing at least 12 semester hours of letter-graded coursework. More than 700 students university-wide earned President’s List recognition for the fall semester.
Schuylkill County President’s List honorees attended Commonwealth University–Bloomsburg, Lock Haven, and Mansfield campuses, representing communities such as Ashland, Frackville, Girardville, Hegins, Klingerstown, Minersville, Pine Grove, Pottsville, and Ringtown.
