Maryland Man Charged After Allegedly Entering East Union Township Home Without Permission

A Maryland man is facing felony charges following an incident at a residence in East Union Township, Schuylkill County.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, Kevin Joseph Needle, 44, of Mount Airy, Maryland, was charged after an incident that occurred on January 29, 2026, along Green Mountain Road in East Union Township.

Court documents state that on January 30, 2026, a woman arrived at the Pennsylvania State Police Frackville barracks to report an incident involving Needle, who is described as her ex-boyfriend.

The woman told troopers that she returned to her residence around 1:30 p.m. on January 29 and discovered Needle inside her home. According to the affidavit, the woman found Needle in the kitchen washing dishes.  She told police that Needle was not permitted to be at the residence due to prior incidents between the two.

The woman stated that she did not want to further irritate Needle and was able to convince him to leave the residence. She then drove him to Littlestown Borough in Adams County, where she dropped him off at his father’s residence. Needle was later transported back to Maryland.

Police say the woman informed them that Needle had been told multiple times that he was not allowed at her residence. She also reported that Needle had been at the home approximately three weeks earlier and had again been told he was not permitted to be there.

According to the affidavit, the woman advised that when she returned home, the doors were locked and she found that the front door had been damaged. She told police she believed Needle used force to gain entry into the residence.

As a result of the investigation, Needle was charged with:

  • Criminal Trespass – Break Into Structure (Felony 2)

  • Criminal Mischief – Damage Property (Summary)

According to online court records, Needle has not yet been arraigned on the charges.
