The organization was recently awarded a $988.00 grant, which was used to support the North Schuylkill High School Band’s Mallet Percussion Project. Through the funding, the boosters purchased a new glockenspiel and rolling cart, providing students with updated equipment that will enhance both rehearsals and performances.
Band officials say the new instrument not only improves sound quality but also makes transportation easier and safer during concerts, competitions, and events throughout the school year.
