The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Foursquare Gospel Church, 2300 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville, and is free and open to the public.
The History Faire brings together more than 30 local historical societies, private collectors, and vendors, all showcasing artifacts, memorabilia, and exhibits that highlight the rich heritage of Schuylkill County and its communities.
Visitors can expect displays featuring everything from vintage photographs and documents to coal region artifacts, military items, antiques, and one-of-a-kind collectibles. Organizers say the event is designed to both preserve local history and make it accessible and engaging for residents of all ages.
The annual gathering also offers a chance for attendees to connect directly with local historians and learn more about the stories, people, and places that shaped Schuylkill County.
Whether you’re a lifelong history buff, a genealogy enthusiast, or simply curious about the area’s past, the History Faire provides a unique opportunity to explore the county’s roots under one roof.
Again, admission is free, and all are welcome.
