PSP Seeking Owner of Firearm Found in Schuylkill County, Recovered After Vehicle Repossessed in Harrisburg


The Pennsylvania State Police are attempting to make contact with the owner of a firearm that was recovered in Schuylkill County.
According to police, the firearm is a 9mm caliber SCCY CPX-2 handgun, serial number C002952, described as pink and black in color.

State police say the firearm was found on September 23, 2025, inside a rental vehicle at Mike Watchers Used Cars, located at 637 Minersville–Lewellyn Highway in Branch Township, Schuylkill County. The vehicle was later repossessed in Harrisburg.

Troopers report that multiple attempts have been made to contact the firearm’s owner, but those efforts have been unsuccessful.
