Woman Stabbed Man With BBQ Fork, Slashed Tire During Domestic Dispute in New Philadelphia

A New Philadelphia woman is facing multiple charges following an alleged domestic altercation that left a man injured and property damaged, according to Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville.
Troopers say the incident occurred around 10:25 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, when a woman contacted police after receiving a phone call from a man, who reported he had been involved in a physical altercation with Tiara Dominque Hake, 30, of New Philadelphia.

Police responded to a residence on Macomb Street in New Philadelphia Borough where the victim told troopers the dispute stemmed from relationship issues. During the altercation, the victim alleged Hake slashed his vehicle’s front passenger tire with a knife and threw his cellphone into the street, smashing it.

Troopers reported observing damage to both the cellphone and the front passenger tire of a Chrysler 300.

The victim also told police Hake had a barbecue fork during the incident and struck him in the abdomen with it. Authorities said they observed a small puncture wound on the left side of his abdomen that appeared consistent with the tip of a barbecue fork.

Following the investigation, troopers took possession of a knife and barbecue fork as evidence. Hake later returned to the residence and denied the allegations, police said.

Hake has been charged with:
  • Simple Assault (M2)
  • Criminal Mischief – Damage to Property (M2)
  • Harassment (Summary)
She was arraigned before on-call Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli and committed to Schuylkill County Prison after being unable to post $10,000 straight cash bail.

Court records show Hake posted bail on Monday, February 9, and was released.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 17, 2026, before Magisterial District Judge Edward Lewis.
