The North Schuylkill Area School Board took time during its Committee of the Whole meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, to recognize outstanding students for the month of March across both the junior/senior high school and elementary levels.
During the meeting, Junior/Senior High School Students of the Month were introduced by Mr. Roseberry and Mr. Sajone. Honored students included:
- 7th Grade: Summer Bilbay, nominated by Ms. Herring
- 7th Grade: Emalynn Boyer, nominated by Mr. Lapointe
- 12th Grade: Allison Stevenson, nominated by Ms. Herring
- 12th Grade: Joseph McAndrew, nominated by Mr. Lapointe
At the elementary level, administrators Ms. Babatsky recognized students who exemplify the district’s “SPARTAN” values:

- Positive: Hadleigh Leitzel, nominated by Ms. Mattern
- Ambitious: Blake Klinger, nominated by Ms. Dinich
- Resourceful: Kendall Harrington-Hutnick, nominated by Ms. Ziolkowski
