Nancy Machita, 84, of Phoenix Park, passed away Friday March 20, 2026 at LVHN Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in Minersville, December 1, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Louise (Stahl) Nolan.

She was a 1959 Graduate of Minersville High School.

Nancy was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Minersville.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Raymond “Chink” Machita Sr. in 2016. Brothers Robert Nolan and James Nolan; Sister Mary Lou Pranscavage.

Surviving are her Children Raymond Machita and his wife Joanne of Minersville; Diane Werner of Schuylkill Haven; Louise Machita of Phoenix Park; Michael Machita and his wife Patricia of Jonestown; Richard Machita of Minersville; Grandchildren Nathaniel Machita and Rebecca Machita; Nieces and Nephews.

Memorial Services will be celebrated at 11:00 Friday March 27, 2026 at Dutcavich Funeral Home & Cremation Care Inc. 200 Sunbury St. Minersville, PA 17954. Rev. Mark Fesniak will be officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to South Cass Fire Co. 14 Water Lane, Pottsville, PA 17901. Burial will be private at St. Nicholas Cemetery.

Sandra Mae Bosche, 81, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Friday, March 20th, at her residence.

Sandra was born in Sellersville, PA on August 14, 1944, a daughter of the late Arlene M. (Billig) and Oliver L. Yaich.

She was the wife of John E. Bosche, to whom she was married to for 12 years.

Sandy was raised in Jim Thorpe and graduated from Jim Thorpe High School, and she also earned an associate degree in business. She attended St. John the Baptist Church, Pottsville and was a member of the Schuylkill Valley Corvette Club.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Robyn O'Brien wife of Paul, Florida and Tammy Wuerth wife of Jonathan, Colorado; grandchildren Clinton Perkins IV, Kendra Wolfe wife of Brandon, Jordan Wuerth and her fiancé Nick Giralico; sister Dawn Hoffman wife of Jeffrey, Georgia.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Frank J. Bolinsky
, 80, of Frackville passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, March 20th, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Butler Township, he was a son of the late Anthony and Genevieve Szwabowicz Bolinsky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony Bolinsky and Leonard Bolinsky, and a grandson, Jared Bolinsky.

Frank was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Frackville.

Frank was a self-employed landscaper for many years, owning and operating his own business while proudly serving the Frackville community and surrounding areas. He was well known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the pride he took in every job, building lasting relationships with those he served. Later, he went on to work as a labor foreman at SCI Mahanoy until his retirement.

Above all, Frank had a deep love for his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who found his greatest joy in supporting his grandchildren. Whether it was attending sporting events, school activities, or special occasions, Frank could always be found cheering them on and taking great pride in all of their accomplishments.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Marlene P. (James) Bolinsky; his son, Frank Bolinsky and his wife, Allison; and his daughters: Nea Griffin and her husband, John "Lou"; Tonya Kovach and her husband, Jeff; Tara Steinhilber and her husband, Dave; and Vanessa Lindenmuth and her husband, Billy; his sister, Patricia Vollenweider; his brothers, Joseph Bolinsky and Richard Bolinsky; his eleven grandchildren, Ryan, Derek, Emily, Matthew, Kaitlyn (David), Aaron, Nathan, Kevin, Tyler (Madeline), Rylee, and Brady; his great-grandchildren, Reagan, Luca, and one baby boy on the way. Frank is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his life-long friend, Jim Beckett.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 25th, at 5:00 p.m. from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, 501 Washington Street, Frackville with Fr. Guency Isaac officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation following the service from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

David E. Buffington
, 55, of Tower City, passed away suddenly, Friday, March 20, 2026.

Dave was born in Pottsville on Monday, August 10, 1970, a son of John and Kathy Strohecker Buffington, Tower City. He attended Williams Valley High School.

Before becoming ill, Big Dave worked for over thirty years at Exel Global Logistics, Harrisburg.

He was a member of the Tower City Loyal Order of the Moose and the Sons of the Tower City American Legion.

Dave enjoyed the simple things in life, whether it spending time with his family or going fishing. He could often be found rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Detroit Tigers, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Above all else, family was the center of his world. He will be remembered as a wonderful son, brother, and uncle. Dave was fondly known as "U.D." to his two nieces and nephew. He loved being an uncle, and they were truly his pride and joy.

Surviving are his parents, John and Kathy Buffington; his brother, Mike Buffington and his wife Lori, Lykens; his sister, Vanessa Wise and her husband Harry, Tower City; his beloved nieces and nephew, Chloe, Georgia, and Liam. Dave is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A dinner and Celebration of Dave's Life will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 4:00 PM from the Porter Tower Lions Club, 517 W Grand Ave, Tower City.
