Ricky V. "Chaz" Kuehn, 69 , of Hegins, formerly of Llewellyn, died Tuesday March 3 at his home.
He was the husband of Susan (Henner) Kuehn.

Janet H. Maidenford, 78, of Joliett, passed away Saturday morning, March 7, 2026 at her home with her family at her side.
Born in Ashland on Saturday, August 2, 1947, a daughter of the late William and Verna Carl Lucas.
Janet was employed as a cook at the Ft. Indiantown Gap. She also managed the former Mountain Top Restaurant. In her younger years, she was a seamstress in the local garment factories.
She was a member of the Newtown and Joliett Fire Companies.
Janet enjoyed the simple things in life, whether it be her trips to the beach and the casino, playing euchre, or having a good cup of coffee. She could often be found watching the wildlife from her home. Above all else, her family was her world. She always looked forward to family gatherings.
She will be greatly missed by her family.
In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry "Butch" Maidenford; a son, Timothy "Bimmer" Maidenford; nine sisters, Jean Kroh, Shirley Deeter, Pauline Carter, Anna Mae Lucas, Verna Lucas, Betsy Wolfgang, Marion Deeter, Linda Morgan, and Grace Madenford; seven brothers, William, Sonny, Lewis, Henry, John, Joe, and Jerry Lucas.
Surviving are her children, Bryan Maidenford (Jill), Pine Grove, Wendy Madenford (Jim), Good Spring, Paul Maidenford (Niki), Joliett, and Clint Maidenford (Kayla), Joliett; three grandchildren, Justine Madenford and Nick and Ember Maidenford; two great grandchildren, Kash and Krew Maidenford; three sisters, Carol Nelson, Cindy Schnoke, Barbara Bassininsky, all of Joliett; one brother Robert Lucas, Joliett; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the chapel. Janet will be laid to rest in the Barry Salem Cemetery, Weisample.
In lieu of flowers donations in Janet's memory can be made to any local charity or organization of your choice.
