A Schuylkill County man is wanted following an incident in which he allegedly threatened a woman with a firearm and later became the focus of a search that uncovered drugs, ammunition, and dozens of suspected counterfeit inspection stickers.
According to court documents filed by Pennsylvania State Police, the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on April 1, 2026, at a residence on New Street in Norwegian Township.
Police say the victim reported that Thomas Kelly, 40, became aggressive during a confrontation inside the home. The victim told troopers that Kelly allegedly retrieved a handgun, fired a round into the floor, and then pointed the weapon at her while making threats.
The victim fled the residence and contacted 911 with the help of a passing motorist, according to the affidavit.

- A 9mm semi-automatic pistol
- Ammunition, including spent casings and live rounds
- Suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia
- Multiple resealable bags containing suspected narcotics
- Approximately 21 fraudulent inspection stickers along with dozens of additional number stickers
All items were seized and taken to the Schuylkill Haven barracks as evidence.
Kelly is charged with:
- Felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

- Recklessly endangering another person
- Simple assault and harassment
- Drug possession and paraphernalia offenses
- Dozens of counts related to altered, forged, or counterfeit documents and inspection stickers
