He is survived by his wife, Gloria “Sue” (Lewis) Harris, to whom he was married for five years.
Jim was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Port Carbon. He was a 1965 graduate of Pottsville Area High School. Jim served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a life member of the American Legion and a member of the 12th Street Social Club in Pottsville. Jim loved to dance.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Victoria M. (Kipp) Harris, who passed away in 2010. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lisa Harris and Carolyn Henke; his stepmother, June Harris; and two step-brothers, Billy Cox and Terry Cox.
Jim is survived by his son, James B. Harris of Minersville; his son, Ed Harris, fiancé of Francine Roberts of Port Carbon; his step-daughter, Tammy Warner of Pottsville; his step-son, Richard C. Wertman, husband of Tori of York; his step-daughter, Wendy Neifert, wife of John of Palo Alto; his sister, Joanne Autera of Drums; and his brother, Bob Harris of Pottsville. He is also survived by three grandchildren, James, Ryan, and Victoria; a great-grandson, Maverick; seven step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A religious service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair, at 7:00 PM with Pastor Josh Daubert officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home. A military service will be held at the funeral home following the religious service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Michael Eugene Kosick, 90, of Pottsville, peacefully passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, at Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A lifelong resident of Pottsville, he was born March 13, 1936. Michael was a son of the late John A. Kosick and Laura May (Eisenhauer) Kosick.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Annemarie (Cutler) Kosick.
He was of the practicing Catholic faith.
Upon his graduation from Pottsville High School in 1954, he proudly served in the U.S. Army as a technician on the Nike Ajax and Hercules missile platforms and was honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant in 1963. Upon returning from service, he was employed at the former Acme Markets until his retirement in 1990. Michael was one of the founding members of the Gear Grinders Hot Rod Association and remained a lifelong automotive enthusiast.
Michael is survived by his son, Michael G. Kosick, Pottsville; a great-granddaughter, McKenzie Kosick, Pottsville; siblings Virginia Barket, Sandra Kalyan, and John C. Kosick; as well as a sister, Michelle, Lebanon, PA.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 11, at James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair. Friends are invited to pay respects between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the funeral home. A short officiated memorial service following visitation will conclude the ceremony. Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Edwin Joseph Paulis, 65, of St. Clair, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Broad Mountain Health and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville. He was born on March 4, 1961, in Pottsville.
Ed was the son of the late Edwin John Paulis and Theresa (Fitzpatrick) Paulis.
He was of the Christian faith. Ed was a 1980 graduate of Minersville Area High School. He was a self-employed roofer and owned E & S Roofing Company in St. Clair.
Ed was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Paulis, and two sisters, Annette Baiocco and Deborah Herring.
He is survived by his sisters, Theresa Paulis of Pottsville and Jeannette Paulis of Pine Grove; his niece, Rose Stevenson; his nephews, Christopher Baiocco, Michael Baiocco, Matthew Paulis, and Brandon Hill; his nieces, Wendy Gehres, Seagey Renninger, Brittney Lizewski, Courtney Hill, and Sydney Hill; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A religious service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Jack Culbert officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday morning at the funeral home.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Mount Laurel Cemetery, Pottsville.

Michael A. Wilson, 69 years of age of West Penn Township, New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully while in the loving care of his wife, Laurie Ann (Hibbard) Wilson on Saturday, March 28, 2026
Born Wednesday, April 25, 1956 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the son of the late Alton and Catherine (Curley) Wilson. Michael was also predeceased by; daughters, Alexis Wilson, Theresa Morris; son, Shane M. Wingler.
In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by; sons, Michael Wilson, Scott Wilson; daughter, Tamara Wingler wife of Aaron; sister, Sharon Karbach wife of Kevin and their children, Jason and Leanne; grandchildren, Nolan, Zoey, Peyton, Harley, and Dakota as well as many friends.
Catholic by faith, Michael graduated from Camden Catholic High School. An avid Philadelphia Sport fanatic, Michael watched the Phillies, Eagles, and was an ardent Notre Dame Football fan. An outdoorsman, Michael enjoyed small game and deer hunting, following the horses on the track, and playing poker. Michael would be put aside any these pastimes for his most cherished role as "Pop-Pop". Michael worked in the Electronic component and distribution field for many years, and was well respected by his piers.

Barbara A. Abrams, 87, Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday, March 30th, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.
She was born in Ardsley, PA on August 28, 1938, a daughter of the late Catherine E. (Wildermuth) Bell and Robert M. Bell, husband of the late Margaret E (Lay) Bell.
Barb was the widow of David J. Abrams, Jr., who passed away in 1995.
She worked at Burger King, delivered the merchandiser and more recently worked at Boyers Food Market and the Fall Festival at Pioneer Tree Farm.
Barb enjoyed trips to Disney, watching the Philadelphia Phillies, traveling and spending time with family.
She was a graduate of Abington High School, class of 1956.
Barb is survived by a daughter, Peggy Hancock, wife of Donald, Schuylkill Haven, two sons: David J. Abrams III, husband of Jean, Pine Grove, and Jeffery R. Abrams, Florida.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Chris Barker, NC, Jordyn Kriner (Jonathan), Schuylkill Haven, Tomara Peterman, MO, Chad Abrams (Hannah), Pine Grove, Rebecca McCormick, Pine Grove, Michelle Schorr (Kody), Tower City, Ashley Beegle (Ryan), Ohio, Keturra Faust (Bryn), Mechanicsburg, Payge Lonergan (Jim), New Ringgold, and Cordell Hancock, Schuylkill Haven; Siblings: Nancy Hohnstine, NJ, widow of Jack, and Robert C. Bell, husband of Marsha, Telford; 22 Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
