Patricia A. Dowger, 83, of McAdoo, passed away Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late George and Edna (Telatovitch) Dvorshak and a faithful member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.

She found great joy in shopping—especially trips to the Dollar Tree—and treasured the times when her granddaughters would do her hair and nails. A true Penn State fan, she loved attending home football games with her family. Patricia also looked forward each year to visiting the St. Mary’s U.C. Church bazaar in McAdoo.
Preceding her in death, were husband, Peter Dowger; son Peter J. Dowger; brothers, George and John Dvorshak; and son-in-law, Robert J. Winchilla.
Surviving are her daughter, Michele Winchilla, of Drifton; grandchildren, Sarah, Natalie and Robert Winchilla; sister-in-law, Lubow Dowger; brother-in-law, Peter Baddick; and nieces and nephews.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Barnabas Shayo on Wednesday, April 8, at 11 a.m. in Church of All Saints, McAdoo. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Cemetery, McAdoo.
A calling hour will be Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
