Shenandoah Valley Seniors Awarded Scholarships Honoring Alumni Brian Rooney and Mike Reese

Two Shenandoah Valley High School seniors were recently recognized for their achievements and future aspirations through scholarships presented by the Shenandoah Sports Locker and Veterans Support Fund.
During a presentation held on May 26, 2026, seniors Chase McCole and Jourdin Karvois each received a $500 scholarship from the organization. The scholarships were awarded in honor of Shenandoah Valley alumni Brian Rooney and Mike Reese.

Presenting the scholarships on behalf of the Shenandoah Sports Locker and Veterans Support Fund were Brian Rooney Sr. and his wife, Cathy Rooney, along with Bill Moyer.

The annual scholarships are designed to support graduating Shenandoah Valley students as they pursue their educational and career goals following high school.
