Lake Wynonah Lodge Sign Vandalized with Spray Paint; State Police Seeking Information


Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating an act of vandalism that damaged a sign at the Lake Wynonah Lodge early Wednesday morning.
According to state police, troopers responded around 12:28 a.m. on June 24 to 939 Wynonah Drive in Wayne Township for a report that the Lake Wynonah Lodge sign had been vandalized with red spray paint.

During the investigation, police learned that a nearby resident observed four unknown juveniles hanging around the area of the sign shortly before the vandalism occurred. The witness also reported hearing the sound of spray paint cans coming from the area and attempted to make contact with the juveniles. However, the group fled into a wooded area before they could be identified.

The incident is being investigated as criminal mischief involving damage exceeding $1,000.
