Harry A. Davis (Doogie)
, 50, of Auburn, passed away Sunday, August 30th, at St. Luke's Hospital Bethlehem.

Doogie was born in Pottsville, Pa. on May 7, 1976, a son of the late Nancy (Hawk) Reed and Harry Davis.

Doogie served in the U.S. Army National Guard and worked as an Extruder for Hydro in Cressona.
He loved golfing, kayaking, and his dog Kira. Many also knew of his passion for music and incredible ability to sing. Above all else, he was known for being there for his friends and daughter.

Doogie is survived by his daughter, Jayna Laundry, wife of Chris, of Cressona, and his sister, Shannon Davis.

Services are going to be private and may be announced at a later date.

Geraldine A. “Gerri” Lubinsky
, 82, of New Philadelphia, passed away Sunday, August 30th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - East, Pottsville, surrounded by her loving family.

Gerri was born in Pottsville on July 25, 1944, a daughter of the late Joseph & Mary (Sobolesky) Sucidlo.

Married nearly 60 years, she was the loving wife of Joseph F. Lubinsky.

Gerri was a 1962 graduate of Nativity BVM High School.

She had been employed as a Prudential insurance agent and as a cashier for Acme Markets.

She was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a current member of Holy Cross Church in New Philadelphia. Gerri belonged to the Holy Cross Rosary Society, Blythe Township Senior Citizens, and the Lithuanian Women’s Society.

In addition to her husband, Gerri is also survived by her daughter, Michelle Stone, wife of Rick, of Cumbola; and two grandsons: Ricky Stone of Cumbola and Patrick Stone of Palmyra. Gerri's grandsons were her pride and joy. She never missed a game, performance or show. She is also survived by two siblings: Joseph Sucidlo, husband of Kathi, of Maine, and Janice Strickland, wife of Robert, of Pottsville; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 4th at Holy Cross Catholic Church, New Philadelphia with Rev. Christopher Zelonis officiating. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of mass. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery, New Philadelphia.
