Schuylkill Haven Area head football coach Mike Farr has been suspended for two games for violating the program’s Code of Conduct, according to a statement Superintendent Shawn Fitzpatrick provided to Skook News.

Farr will miss the Hurricanes’ road games at Mahanoy Area on , and at Nativity BVM on .
John Carestia Jr. will serve as interim head coach for the two games.
Schuylkill Haven Area School District Statement
Fitzpatrick provided the following statement to Skook News:
“The Schuylkill Haven Area School District has placed the head football coach on a two-game suspension for violating the program’s Code of Conduct.”
“The District takes its responsibility to provide students with a safe, respectful and positive environment seriously, and holds its coaches responsible for any actions that fall short of these standards. The District took prompt action in response to allegations made.”
The district’s statement did not describe the allegations or specify which provision of the Code of Conduct was violated.
