An accomplished bowler, Jim was inducted into the Greater Schuylkill USBC Hall of Fame in recognition of his achievements. He was also a devoted Bruce Springsteen fan. Some of his favorite times were spent sitting on his deck, enjoying the company of family and friends and making memories with the people he loved.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary (McCaffrey) Larish, in 2021; his sister, Ruth Kisko; and his brother, John “Bill” Larish.

He is survived by his three children: James D. Larish Jr. of St. Clair; Eric Larish and his wife, Maria, of Pottsville; and Alexandra Iommi and her husband, Paul, of Frackville. He is also survived by his cherished grandpuppies.
