State Officials have announced a Schuylkill County organization has been awarded a grant to protect victims of domestic abuse from gun violence.

This week, the Board of Directors of the Schuylkill Hope Center for Victims of Domestic Violence, in Pottsville, announced that Ms. Amy L. Newton, has accepted the position of Executive Director following the retirement of Ms. Sarah (Sally) Casey as President/CEO.
