North Schuylkill’s boys defeated Lehighton 4–0, while the girls beat Pleasant Valley 8–1. Schuylkill Haven defeated Salem Christian 3–1, and Tri-Valley topped Notre Dame East Stroudsburg 6–1. Pottsville’s boys and girls teams each lost 2–1.

The schedule opens Monday with Tamaqua facing Salisbury in boys Class 2A at 5 p.m. Tuesday includes a home doubleheader at North Schuylkill, with the boys playing Lehighton at 5 p.m. and the girls facing Pleasant Valley at 7 p.m.
