Yuengling Named Top Craft Beer in United States

The Brewers Association (BA)—the not-for-profit trade group representing small and independent craft brewers—today released its annual lists of the top 50 craft and overall brewing companies in the U.S., based on beer sales volume. Of the top 50 overall brewing companies, 42 were craft brewing companies.

Injured State Trooper's Name Released

On Friday afternoon, while a state trooper was assisting a disabled vehicle in the southbound lanes between Exit 124 and 119 on Interstate 81, he returned to his cruiser to a retrieve a fire extinguisher when another vehicle travelling south struck the back of the cruiser.

State Trooper Struck by Vehicle on Interstate

A state trooper was struck by a passing vehicle on Interstate 81 while he was assisting at the scene of a car fire Friday afternoon.

He was flown to Geisinger with unknown injuries.

Southbound lanes of Interstate 81 have been closed at the Frackville exit.
