Pennsylvania Senate Passes Medical Marijuana Bill

On Tuesday Afternoon, the Pennsylvania State Senate passed Senate Bill 3 taking a big step to legalize the use of Medical Marijuana in Pennsylvania.

The Bill would allow state residents to buy, possess and use medical marijuana for the treatment of a qualifying condition.

The Bill will now be moved to the House for it's concurrence on the Senate's Amendments.

Governor Wolf has already said that he supports the bill.

Argall: Governor’s New Formula Cut $2.7 Million From Local Schools

A new education funding formula developed by Governor Wolf will cut a cumulative total of $2,758,013 from local schools in Berks and Schuylkill Counties, according to Senator David G. Argall (R-Schuylkill/Berks).

Shenandoah Bridge Closed Until Inspectors Evaluate

On Monday, Construction workers in Schuylkill County closed the PA 924 bridge over Kehly Run in Shenandoah Borough to repair a hole on the bridge deck.
