2016 Charity Wrestling Meet This Friday
Pottsville Area Crimson Tide Wrestling, one of the largest wrestling programs in our region, will host the Fourth Annual Crimson and White Charity Match on Friday, November 18th, 2016 at 7:30 PM.
LCCC Tamaqua Open Additional Hours for Spring Registration
Lehigh Carbon Community College’s (LCCC) Tamaqua campus will offer additional hours for applicants for the spring 2017 semester to complete the registration process. The Morgan Center will be open on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is located at 234 High Street, Tamaqua, Pa.

Born in Coaldale on May 29, 1978, he was the son of Dorothy A. (Digilio) Ziegenfuss of Coaldale and the late Ray A. Ziegenfuss.
Michael was a Carbon County Vo-Tech graduate. He enjoyed playing basketball, bowling and swimming and was a member of the Panther Valley Shuffleboard League.
He is survived by his

Ronald J. Weiss, 51, Schuylkill Haven, died Sunday at Geisinger Regional Medical Center, Danville PA
Born in Pottsville, April 2, 1965, He was a son of the late Ronald and Vivian (Pepper) Weiss.
Ronald was catholic in faith and worked as a self-employed Automotive Mechanic .
Surviving are a companion, Virginia Bressler, Schuylkill Haven, 1 daughter Jessica Pauly and her husband Larry, Minersville, one son Tony Weiss, Blue Ball, 2 Grandchildren, 1 sister Vivian Connor, Schuylkill Haven, 1 brother David Weiss, Schuylkill Haven, and 1 Nephew.
Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair. Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hillside SPCA PO Box 233, 51 SPCA Road, Pottsville, PA 17901.

Born in Tilden Twp. on December 27, 1916, Edna was the daughter of the late Edwin and Marietta (Shade) Reinsel. She worked as a waitress at the Shartlesville Hotel from 1963-1988. Edna was a member of Frieden's Church, Shartlesville. She enjoyed being with her family and would always call and sing Happy Birthday to them. Edna was a kind person and instilled in her family to be kind to others. She loved to dance and make people smile. Edna enjoyed flowers and ice cream was her favorite dessert. Her farewell to others when leaving was "Good Luck To You."
Edna is survived by her three children: David E. Reinsel and his fiance Constance Edwards, Bernville; Rosie L. (Reinsel), wife of Terry Reimert, Oley; and Janie R. (Reinsel), wife of Ronald Procopio, Sinking Spring; four grandchildren: Troy Kratzer, and his wife Amy; Shawn Reimert, and his wife Marnita; Brandon Epting; and his wife Elizabeth; and Debra Hook; and five great-grandchildren: Candace and Paige Kratzer; Louden Reimert; and Everett and Escher Epting. She was predeceased by three brothers: Howard and George Kauffman, and Daniel Reinsel; as well as four infant siblings.
Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp. Charles 'Chuck' Sincavage, 52, of Mahanoy City, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 12th.
Chuck was born in Shenandoah, on April 13, 1964, a son of Camille (Jones) Sincavage, of Mahanoy City and the late Charles Sincavage.
He was a 1982 graduate Shenandoah Valley High School, where he excelled as a pitcher on the baseball team.
He last worked for Big Lots Distribution Center in Tremont.
Chuck enjoyed all kinds of sports, including football, baseball and basketball. He had a great sense of humor who made everyone laugh.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a niece, Mary Schlauch.
A loving son, Chuck is survived by his mother Camille Sincavage of Mahanoy City, a sister Maria, wife of Denny Schlauch, Zion Grove; and nephews, Charles Schlauch and his wife Stacy and thier children; Eric Schlauch and his wife Tera; and Michael Schlauch.
A private funeral service for Chuck's family will be held at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home in Ringtown.

Annual Open Skate and Open House at Mohegan Sun Arena to Benefit Toys for Tots
WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP – Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza will open its doors for public ice skating on Tuesday, December 6th for the 13th Annual Toys for Tots Open Skate presented by Utz in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Mohegan Sun Arena will also be hosting a holiday-themed Open House for the first time featuring a self-guided tour of the venue with surprises at each stop, plus photos with Santa and a chance to win a luxury suite to a Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins game.
