North Schuylkill Student Eliminated in 3rd Round of National Spelling Bee Prelimaries
North Schuylkill 8th grader, Devina Singh, who traveled to Washington D.C. to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, reached the 3rd Round of Preliminaries Wednesday.
Mahanoy City Police Take Man Into Custody Wanted On Charges in Luzerne County and New Jersey

According to their Facebook Page, Eric Scott Creamer, 23, was taken into custody for several warrants for his arrest in Luzerne County and for burglary, corruption of minors and other theft-related charges in the State of New Jersey.

According to the Mahanoy Twp. Facebook page, on May 23rd, the Mahanoy Twp. and Mahanoy City Police Departments worked together to send 4 individuals to jail on various drug related charges.
