A Brockton woman died after being struck by a vehicle in while crossing Broad St in front of the Tamaqua High Rise.

Halloween Parade Postponed
The Andreas Halloween Parade that was scheduled for Wednesday evening has been postponed until Thursday, October 16th. The parade will form at 6:15pm at the Andreas Sporting Club and will begin at 7PM.

The fire appeared to be contained to the engine area, based on eyewitnesses.
No injuries were reported or how the fire started.
