Tamaqua Area Community Partnership to celebrate 20th Anniversary on Wednesday

Man Sent to Prison for Attempted Murder
Joseph Yeich, of Mahanoy City, was sentenced to 12-24 years in state prison on Monday for a December 2013 incident in the borough. Yeich was found guilty back in December.
Sheppton Man Accused of Threatening to Kill Woman
Carl Hayslette, 41, of Sheppton was charged with terroristic threats and simple assault after an incident Monday in East Union Township.
