The victim of a fatal ATV crash in Ashland Wednesday evening has been identified.
According to Ashland Police, on Wednesday evening, at 8:00pm, emergency personnel were dispatched to 300 North 9th Street, in a wooded area behind the Ashland Post Office for report of a vehicle accident with rollover.
Police say Beth Yost, 37, of Butler Township, was operating a 1996 Polaris Sportsman ATV/Quad and was traveling up a hill on private property when the vehicle flipped over backwards, rolling, and landing on top of her.
A witness provided emergency care until the Ashland Fire Department and EMS arrived on scene.
Yost would succumb to her injuries and was pronounced dead by the Schuylkill County Coroner's Office at the scene.
