Friends and family members of Anthony's started a Facebook event for users to send in photos of their dogs since Anthony finds great joy in getting visits from dogs and seeing photos of them.
Since the movement started, over half a million photos have been submitted to the event and it continues to grow.
As of Monday, the page has over 840,000 followers.
