Three Injured, One Flown to Hospital After Tuesday Morning Crash

Around 10:30am Tuesday morning, emergency crews were called to the border of Tamaqua and Schuylkill Township along Route 209 for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.


The crash involved a pickup track that struck a parked flatbed truck owned by Hope's Towing.

Three people total were injured in the crash, one of them was flown to an area hospital.

Fire crews from Tamaqua and Tamaqua EMS was at the scene while other Tamaqua Units and Lehighton assisted at the landing zone.
