"ID Me" at the Schuylkill County Fair

Sheriff Groody and his staff will be at the Schuylkill County Fair on Tuesday, August 2 to assist with sign your child in the Child I.D. Me Program.

Tuesday, which is Kids Day at the Fair, he and his staff will be operating the I.D. Me Program from 11AM to 7PM. Come to the Fairgrounds to protect your most precious resource your child and while you are at the Fair “We have more good things growing.”

I.D. Me is child identification program that activities the code Amber Alert System. The Schuylkill County Sheriff’s Department captures a digital photo of your child and stores it on the County of Schuylkill computer network.

If your child would become a victim of abduction, the digital photo along with the child’s demographics would be sent to the Pennsylvania State Police for submission to the Code Amber Alert organization provided that the active criteria would apply. If the criteria are met, the Amber Alert System would be activated.

The I.D. Me is a free community service program provided by the Schuylkill County Sheriff’s Department. Bring your child and enroll him or her in this worthwhile program for your child’s safety and your piece of mind.

The Schuylkill County Sheriff's Office will have a stand at the fair everyday.
