Schuylkill County 4-H Scholarship Awarded

Congratulations were extended to Brendin Freeman as the recipient of the Schuylkill County 4-H Scholarship at the recently held Schuylkill County 4-H Achievement Night Banquet. 

Brendin is currently attending SUNY Cobleskill, New York and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture equipment Technology. He recently graduated from SUNY Morrisville State College, New York with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science. Majoring in agriculture equipment technology with a minor in diesel technology. Brendin’s career goal is to be in product development and testing for New Holland Agricultural division and specialize in combines and hay tools.

The purpose of the Schuylkill County 4-H Scholarship is to provide financial assistance for continuing education to help develop youth potential, and to recognize the dedication of 4-H volunteers does indeed have impact on the lives of youth. Consideration for this award is given to all current Schuylkill County 4-H members including alumni up to the age of 22 who are currently enrolled in an education beyond high school.
