Inmate Walks Away from Schuylkill Prison Camp in Minersville on Thursday

An inmate at a Schuylkill County Prison Camp was discovered missing Thursday afternoon.

According to a Press Release from the U.S. Department of Justice, on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at approximately 2:30 p.m., inmate Raymond Collazo was discovered missing from the Federal Correctional Institution Schuylkill’s Minimum Security Satellite Prison Camp in Minersville, PA.  

Mr. Collazo is a 32 year old, Hispanic Male, is 6’ tall and weighs approximately 210 pounds. The United States Marshals Service and other law enforcement agencies were notified.  Anyone with information about this individual should contact the United States Marshals Service at      570-346-7277.   

Mr. Collazo was sentenced in the Western District of New York to 130 months for Possession of 100 Grams or More of Heroin with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime. 

The Federal Correctional Institution Schuylkill’s Satellite Prison Camp is a minimum security facility currently housing 240 male offenders in Minersville PA
