Schuylkill County residents and businesses that have been impacted by the flooding during the week of August 13, 2018 can now report their damages directly to the County.

The information collected will be entered into the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency Damage Reporting System to support the request of the Governor to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for a Presidential Declaration of Disaster. Residents and businesses should be aware that there is no guarantee Federal Assistance will be available.

The Schuylkill County Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters and Long Term Recovery Committee have been working with affected municipalities since the July 23-27, 2018 storms to assist with immediate needs of residents in those areas most impacted by the flooding. The Schuylkill County Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters is made up of non-profit and faith based groups from around the County and Region. If a resident has an immediate need, please contact your municipality and the local volunteers will coordinate requests to Schuylkill County VOAD. Residents can also contact the State Public Inquiry Line 272-200-3211 for assistance and Pennsylvania VOAD will contact the County.
