The Pottsville Police have issued a traffic advisory and parking restrictions ahead of Saturday's Saint Patrick's Day Parade in the city.The annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in the City of Pottsville will be held on Saturday March 16, 2019 at 1100hrs. As in previous years, the parade participants will begin to form at 1000hrs on West Market Street between North 12th Street and 14th Street and on 12th Street between West Market and Race Street.
The parade route will begin on W. Market Street at 12th Street and proceed east on West Market Street, south on North 2nd Street, east on Mahantongo St, north on Centre Street and west on Laurel Boulevard, ending at 3rd Street.
Temporary parking and travel restrictions along the parade route will take effect starting at 0800 hours and remain in place until the completion of the parade.
