According to PennDOT, beginning on Monday, March 18, 2019, a truck detour was put in place on Route 309 between Silverbrook Road and Jackson Street in McAdoo as part of an ongoing PA 309 Reconstruction Project.
The detour will remain in place until the end of November 2019.
As part of the detour, trucks will be detours to Interstate 81 at Exit 138 to PA 424 at Exit 141 to Route 309.
