Around 3:45pm, emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of High Road and Fairgrounds Road (Route 901) in Lavelle, Butler Townshp, for a motor vehicle accident.
Exact details of the crash were not available at the scene, but a Jeep Cherokee and a Jeep Gladiator collided at the intersection with both vehicles suffering heavy front end damage.
The female driver of the Gladiator was reported to have suffered minor injuries.
High Road from Low Road to Route 901 was closed while the scene was cleared.
Responding with Butler Township Police to the scene was the Lavelle Fire Company with the Fountain Springs Fire Company for traffic control. Washington Ambulance also responded and tended to the injured.
Klischer Auto towed both vehicles from the scene.
