A Berks County Coroner has been called to the scene of a crash on Route 501 near the Schuylkill County line south of Pine Grove.As of 11:30pm, Wednesday, Route 501 is closed between the Schuylkill County line and Airport Road in Bethel Township. A fatal crash occurred on the road and investigators are at the scene of the crash and the road will be closed for an extended period of time.
A Berks County Coroner was also called to the scene.
