State Police Seize Methamphetamine While Executing Search Warrant in Reading

The State Police Troop L Vice/Narcotics Unit along with assistance from the Reading City Police Department seized a large amount of methamphetamine on Friday.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Reading, a search warrant was executed in the 500 block of South 10th Street, Reading, around 6:00am, Friday.

Police say during the search, the following items were seized:
 - 60 Grams of Methamphetamine
 - $2,990.00 in cash
 - a 9mm Handgun
 - Packaging Materials, scales, and a money counter

As a result of the investigation, Donna Marie Rineck-Moffett, 49, of Reading was taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to deliver drugs, possession of drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Nicholas M. Bentz Jr. and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
