The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven is investigating an attempted robbery at the Pottsville Park Plaza last week.
Police say the incident occurred on March 9th, 2020 around 1:00am, when a man was walking in the parking lot when two unknown males walked up to him and assaulted him.
The unknown male suspects attempted to take the man's wallet and phone but did not succeed.
The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
