One Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in Cass Township Early Tuesday

One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle Crash in Cass Township on Tuesday morning.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020, around 5:30am, a crash occurred on Highridge Park Road in Cass Township at the intersection with Keystone Boulevard.

Police say at the time of the crash, Jill Ostrousky, 51, of Pottsville was traveling westbound on Highridge Park Road while Jacob Houtz, 27, of Ashland was traveling eastbound

Ostrousky reportedly intended to turn left onto Keystone Boulevard and turned directly into the path of Houtz.

At the point of impact, Ostrousky's GMC Sierra rolled onto it's side and slid to a stop.

Ostrousky was reported to have suffered serious injures in the crash and was transported via Minersville Ambulance to an area hospital. 

Houtz was not hurt in the crash.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Assisting State Police in the crash were the Minersville Fire and Rescue, Citizens Fire Company from Gordon, Hecksherville/Cass Township Fire Company, and Minersville Ambulance.
