Police in Girardville have issued citations after a tractor trailer incident in the borough earlier this month.
According to Girardville Police, on Saturday, November 14th, 2020, around 2:00pm, the Girardville Street Department and Girardville Fire Department responded to the intersection of 4th Street and East Main Streets for a stuck tractor trailer.
The incident closed East Main Street for over 2 hours and required the help of Hoffman's Towing heavy wrecker to free the vehicle.
As a result of the incident, Girardville Police issued multiple citations for vehicle operation and equipment safety standards.
