Philadelphia Eagles to Honor Schuylkill County Native Who Made the Ultimate Sacrifice

On Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles will honor a Schuylkill County native who gave the ultimate sacrifice while fighting for our country.

On June 2nd, 2014, Captain Jason B. Jones, a native of Orwigsburg died will in the line of duty and serving our country for the United States Army in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

Jones was a Philadelphia Eagles fan and this Sunday, November 1st, 2020, his team will recognize him.

During the Eagles game against the Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles will wear decals on their helmets honoring Jones.

The game is scheduled to place Sunday evening in Philadelphia with kickoff scheduled for 8:20pm.
