Easter Bunny Makes Visit to Girardville's Rangers Hose Company

Despite the rain on Sunday, the Easter Bunny made a scheduled stop at the Rangers Hose Company in Girardville.

The event was originally scheduled to be an Easter Egg Hunt which is t hosted annually by the fire company, but due to rain in the forecast, the members along with the Easter Bunny moved to the firehouse on East Ogden Street.

Families had two options to stay dry when attending, to either visit the Easter Bunny through drive-thru or park and sit on his lap in front of the firehouse.

Each child received an Easter Bucket full of eggs plus a frisbee and other toys. All the items given to the children were donated to the fire company for the event.

Girardville's Police Chief Frederick Lahovski Jr. also attended to help.

Thanks to the event, the Easter Bunny was able to visit with 58 children.
